Space Battleship Yamato - is a Japanese science fiction anime series and full movies featuring an eponymous spacecraft.

In 2199, the crew of the space battleship Yamato set out on a journey to the planet Iskandar to acquire a device that can heal the war-ravaged Earth. In 2199, five years after the Gamilas launch attacks on Earth, the planet has been ravaged by the aliens' radiation bombs and the remnants of humanity have moved underground. One day, former pilot Susumu Kodai discovers a message capsule sent from the planet Iskandar that tells of a device that can remove the radiation from the Earth's surface. The United Nations of Space Administration rebuilds the battleship Yamato, with a new type of propulsion system - the Wave Motion Engine. This enables her to make the long voyage to Iskandar and back in hopes of saving the Earth. Within 73 days, the radiation will drive the rest of humanity to extinction and the Gamilas will inhabit the Earth.

In the year 2220 A.D., the Earth Federation launches a plan to evacuate Earth when discovering that a traveling black hole capable of destroying anything in its path is on course towards the solar system. As the people on Earth prepare to relocate to planet Amare, whose ruler offers refuge, the tyrants known as the "S.U.S. Empire" attack the first Earth evacuation fleet. After learning that his wife Capt. Yuki Mori-Kodai disappeared in the battle and that legendary space battleship Yamato has been fully rebuilt, Susumu Kodai accepts command of the ship as he intends to not only help humanity once again, but also find Yuki in the hope of helping his relationship with his daughter Miyuki, who puts the blame on him for her mother's disappearance. But in order to fullfil the mission, the Yamato must go through battles against the SUS Empire, who intend to spoil humanity's hopes of finding a new place to live in and turn Earth into energy for their own selfish needs.

A watery world called Aquarius that is destined to destroy all of the planet Earth. Can the great Yamato stop this devastation? Final Yamato (宇宙戦艦ヤマト・完結編 Uchuu Senkan Yamato Kanketsu Hen, lit. "Space Battleship Yamato: Final Saga") is a 1983 Japanese anime science fiction film and the fourth theatrical movie of the Space Battleship Yamato saga (known as Star Blazers in the United States). The 70mm print had a running time of 163 minutes, making Final Yamato the longest running animated film ever made. The water planet Aquarius is heading towards Earth after flooding the home planet of the warrior race of the Dinguil. The Dinguil use warp technology to make the planet move towards Earth faster than usual. The warrior race plans to flood Earth and make it their new home. When Earth learns of this, they make plans to evacuate humanity. Unfortunately, the Dinguil destroy the evacuation fleets. The space battleship Yamato, under the newly revived Jyuzo Okita (who seemingly died in the first season of the original series) now has to fight the Dinguil and stop Aquarius from flooding the Earth.

Star Blazers 2202: Warriors of Love - The continuing adventures of the space battleship Yamato. Three Years after the battle with Gamillas, the people in the Solar System are finally at peace once again and the Earth has been restored back to life. With the end of the war, there is a peace treaty between Earth and Gamillas which will strengthen their military bond and secure true peace. In addition to the reconstruction of Earth, the joint forces form a new intergalactic defense fleet with a new ship, Andromeda, to be its new symbol of power. Due to these advancements, the Earth is going on a path of military expansion despite Starsha Iscandar's wishes of peace. But when a new threat called the Gatlantis starts to wreak havoc to a newly reformed galaxy, the Goddess Teressa calls upon the Yamato once more in order to fight back against the new threat.

The Black Nebula Empire, last seen in Yamato: The New Voyage, lands a huge fortress on Earth and sends out an invasion force, with the Black Nebulan fleet wipes out Earth's space fleets. The fortress contains a bomb capable of destroying half the planet. The Nebulans threaten to use it if they are attacked. The Yamato reaches the other side of the Black Nebula and finds a grand, white galaxy, similar to the Milky Way. They follow a beacon signal to a planet that looks just like Earth. They land, and are greeted by an apparently human woman, Sada, and two officers from the Black Nebulan Empire. They meet the Emperor, Scaldart, who also appears to be a human. He tells them that they are actually back in the Milky Way, in the year 2402. The vortex was a hole in time. The Earth has been under Black Nebulan rule for 200 years, and he is the (puppet) governor. Scaldart shows Kodai and the landing party all sorts of collections of Earth's famous artwork, and, up on the Yamato, the video screen scans the surface of the planet to find all of Earth's famous landmarks...

The battle with the White Comet Empire, Yamato finally returns to Earth to obtain more members and be inspected for repairs. When he returns to his home planet, Desler, but instead he finds the fleet of the Black Nebula Empire strip mining the Earth for its core. During a seemingly standard training mission a month after the war with the White Comet Empire, the crew of the Yamato face a new enemy: the mysterious Dark Nebula Empire. Kodai, Shima, Yuki, and the rest of the ship's crew have to ally with ex-enemy Desslar in order to foil the Dark Nebula's plans of strip mining Iscandar - the home planet of old friend Starsha, who helped the crew during their first voyage. Yamato: The New Voyage (宇宙戦艦ヤマト 新たなる旅立ち Uchū Senkan Yamato Aratanaru Tabidachi, lit. "Space Battleship Yamato: The New Journey"), also known as Bon Voyage Yamato, is a 1979 Japanese animated television movie that was first broadcast on Fuji TV. This was the third movie in the Space Battleship Yamato saga (however, Be Forever Yamato is the third theatrical movie). The Yamato crew must defeat the new Dark Nebula Empire. This film is the first in a two-part story arc that continues in Be Forever Yamato.

The Comet Empire approaches, and the Yamato is ready to face them. But this will be the last battle for both sides. Susumu Kodai and Yuki Mori's wedding plans are postponed when the Yamato crew must report to take on another threat from the stars. A new enemy has harnessed a comet and is using its terrible power to unleash destruction upon its rivals and inferiors... which are in fact everyone. The Space Battleship Yamato heads back into action. But this time, it shall not return, and much of the Yamato crew have signed on for their last voyage.

Uchū Senkan Yamato TV Series: In the year 2199, the space battleship Yamato embarks on a voyage to the planet Iscandar, to retrieve a device that will rejuvenate a war-ravaged Earth. Start TV Series 1974 year. In the year 2199, Earth is invaded by an extraterrestrial race known as the Gamilas, who hail from a dying planet and decide to make Earth their new home. The Gamilas proceed to rain radioactive bombs on Earth, rendering the planet's surface arid and uninhabitable (but hospitable for their race). Earth's space fleet is hopelessly outclassed by the Gamilas and all seems lost... until a mysterious space probe is retrieved on Mars. The probe contains blueprints, and a message from Queen Starsha of the planet Iscandar, who claims to have a device which can cleanse Earth of its radiation damage. The blueprints are of a supercraft that can enable any ship to head to Iscandar (situated in another galaxy) and back in a year, and with these plans the denizens of Earth secretly rebuild a Japanese battleship, the Yamato, into a great space battleship. A small but intrepid crew of 114 departs for Iscandar in the Yamato to acquire the device... but with the menace of the Gamilas, can they succeed ...

Gamilons are a race of evil aliens that are trying to destroy the planet Earth. However, a group of civilians look to the battleship Yamato for its space travel and go on a mission to bring back a neutralizer that will get rid of the radiation from the Earth. Space Battleship Yamato (宇宙戦艦ヤマト Uchū Senkan Yamato), also known as Cosmoship Yamato and Space Cruiser Yamato, is the first theatrical movie based on the classic anime series (known as Star Blazers in the United States). Unlike the later films that would follow it, this is a compilation film consisting of various television episodes edited from the "Iscandar" arc of the television series. It originally had a new ending created for the theatrical release in which Starsha had died before the Yamato reaching Iscandar. This ending was removed for the television broadcast and was lost until the DVD release. In English speaking countries, it was known by the title Space Cruiser.

In the galactic group there are more than 100,000,000,000 galaxies, and the Milky Way galaxy, the one which includes Earth's solar system, is only one of these... one of many in the immensity of outer space. This story starts in the year 3199, when a mighty enemy attacks the Milky Way from a neighboring galaxy. The enemy engages the combined forces of the Milky Way, an Alliance of many stellar nations, and defeats them one after another. The remaining Milky Way Alliance forces are reduced to just six fleets. After the Alliance headquarters is destroyed, and when the collapse of the central Milky Way Alliance is imminent, the Great Yamato Zero surprises everyone and embarks on a mission to assist the Milky Way Alliance in one last great battle.
