You don't really need to talk about South Park at length now, do you? It's been a huge success ever since day one. When it debuted way back in 1997, people were all over it from the get-go. Earlier episodes do not have the same feel, by the way. Some prefer how it was before, but majority of people agree that with every single season, South Park just keeps on miraculously getting better and better.

Don't let its simple premise fool you. It reads as four young boys and their bizarre adventures in a small Colorado town. South Park is famous for its clever use of satire, profanity, dark humor, surreal humor and patronizing speeches. Nothing is off limits. Scientology, Tom Cruise, political correctness, racism, gender issues, Jesus and his friends, every-freaking-thing. If you are new to this, it's a good idea to not start from the first season. You can even jump to the latest one and still enjoy the hell out of it. Without any further ado: just enjoy it, it's 100% free to watch and download.

As with most seasons of the show, all episodes are written and directed by series co-creator and co-star Trey Parker. Like the previous two seasons, this season features an episode-to-episode continuity, but unlike the previous two, the continuity is more linear, as if the whole season is one story arc. This season featured recurring themes focusing on Internet trolls, nostalgia, and the 2016 United States presidential election. This season also had planned "dark weeks", weeks where no new episodes would air, which has been done since the 19th season. These were after episode three, episode six, and episode eight.

The Blu-Ray and DVD sets were released exclusively to Best Buy on August 16, 2016, and were available worldwide on September 6. Much like the previous season, this season features an episode-to-episode continuity, with political correctness as a recurring theme. This season introduced PC Principal as a new major character, replacing South Park Elementary's previous principal, Principal Victoria. This season featured planned "dark weeks", weeks where no new episodes aired. These were after episode three, episode six, and episode eight.

The Spirit of Christmas. Jesus vs. Frosty 720p South ParkFour children, all but one of whom go unnamed, build a snowman which comes to life and threatens their town. Kenny, the only child whose name is given in the film, and who resembles the character called Cartman in the subsequent Spirit of Christmas, The (1995) and "South Park" (1997), is immediately killed by the monster. When the children go to Santa for help, he is revealed to be the monster in disguise, and slaughters another of the kids. The two survivors approach the baby Jesus, who takes on the evil snowman and wins, saving Christmas.

As for most seasons of the show, all episodes of season 18 were written and directed by the series co-creator and co-star Trey Parker.

South Park (Season 17) 720pThe seventeenth season of the animated television series South Park premiered on Comedy Central on September 25, 2013 and ended on December 11, 2013. The season consists of 10 episodes, as series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone decided to scale back and have one uninterrupted season, as opposed to two 7-episode runs, as had been the format since season 7. Aside from Parker, who wrote and directed all episodes, this season employed additional writers, one of whom is former Saturday Night Live cast member Bill Hader, who began working full-time on the show. Due to a power outage at the studio, episode 4 ("Goth Kids 3: Dawn of the Posers") missed the deadline and aired a week later than scheduled.

In response to reactions to the mid-season finale episode "You're Getting Old", which seemed to insinuate that creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone were wrapping up the series, Comedy Central proclaimed through the media that South Park was renewed for two more seasons, and the duo were signed through 2013. Shortly before the airing of the season finale episode "The Poor Kid", South Park was extended again until 2016, taking the show to 20 seasons. Parker was the director and writer for all episodes, and Robert Lopez was the writer in this eleventh episode for the fifteenth season.
