Cleveland Season 2 funnier than current season of Family Guy? This show is hysterical!

I was skeptical at first but really think that the show is picking up steam. The Love Roller-coaster episode is by far the funniest animated 1/2 hour I have ever seen. Right from the gate with the Facebook stuff it was hilarious and culminating in the "Balls Deep" song which I could listen to over and over. The Thanksgiving episode was really good as well and the Field of Dreams one. This week (1/31) episode was awful which was disappointing but I won't give up on it. Family Guy has not been that good this season. The last super funny episode I remember is when Lauren Coleman was on. I am hoping that if the Cleveland Show doesn't last that more effort is given to make Family Guy funny again.

I'll begin this by saying most of what is on television today is so bad, so so very bad, that I am this close to having a spontaneous shut down if I ever give something new a chance. I, however, was begged by my husband to check out Cleveland Show. I begrudgingly agreed to, though I am only a fan of the older episodes of Family Guy and do not enjoy American Dad. Man o man, was/am I glad I took a chance this time. I now look forward to the show every week. It is so funny, like older Family Guy. The characters are well drawn (figuratively and literally!) and well acted. It is hard to pick a favorite, but every episode I'm becoming a bigger and bigger fan of Cleveland Jr. The vocal acting is superb and just out and out awesome. I really hope more people take a shine to this show. If it gets canceled I will cry. There is way too much garbage on TV that gets renewed season after season. Start using your brains again, folks, and be discerning customers. Be entertained by real entertainment!

If Family Guy is starting to bore you, Cleveland Show is refreshing.

From the first episode I loved this show! I laugh in almost every scene, and seeing a spin on a black family that's not the Cosbys or Moesha's family is refreshing. Cleveland is a great character and is standing on his own, and I love Seth MacFarlane for trying him out! I will always tune in.

Anyone who does not see the greatness or potential of this show was expecting it to be like Family Guy, and as we have seen, Family Guy is on its last legs when it comes to being consistently funny. Anyone else who thinks it's a bad version of Family Guy is still stuck in the box. Cleveland Show is different, refreshing, and gives FOX another chance at staying funny Sunday nights.

Favorite Episode to Date: A Brown Thanksgiving (and I'm not even done watching it yet.)
