Full Metal Panic! (season 2) Fumoffu 720p - (2003 Lang: English, Japanese)

Мультсериал сочетает в себе много жанров. Если проанализировать содержание трёх сезонов «Стальной тревоги», то эти серии содержат в себе жанры:

Первый сезон: Школа, боевик, экшен, романтика, комедия, фантастика (ближайшее будущее).
Второй сезон (о котором сейчас пойдет речь) : Школа, комедия, романтика.
Третий сезон: Боевик, экшен, фантастика (ближайшее будущее).

Таким образом, этот мультсериал понравится многим. Второй сезон — то, что нужно для любителей посмеяться. Правда, не посмотрев первый сезон будет сложно всё понять.

Лучшими (самыми смешными) сериями являются те, в которых весёлая компания отправляется на отдых на горячие источники. У девушек однозначно отдых, а вот у юношей более «грандиозные» планы, связанные с… (если принять во внимание тот факт, что Курц Вебер всё это затеял, то не трудно догадаться, о чём идёт речь).

Естественно, что бесчувственный, хладнокровный и безэмоциональный Сагара не принял в этом участия. Напротив, он сделал всё, чтобы помешать им, причём не из личных соображений, а из-за приказа старшего офицера Ричарда Мардукаса никого и близко не подпускать к капитану Тестароссе, который был отдан в крайне жёсткой в форме и с самыми страшными угрозами в случае невыполнения приказа. Особенно смешно эта серия заканчивается, но тут я воздержусь от пересказов. Это надо смотреть.

A fairly good follow up to the original with more comedy, though lacking in the action department, A light hearted version and side story of a great series.

I don't think I've ever laughed so much at each episode of an anime. This show is rather short, and has no plot to speak of, the characters basically just fool around and get into trouble. The first show in the series, Full Metal Panic!, is split between comedy and action adventure, Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu is pure comedy. Most anime comedies mix comedy together with more drama like elements (romance, drama etc) this show does not, all it try's to do is make you laugh, which it does an excellent job at, only bringing in romantic elements very rarely. The shows characters are incredibly endearing and I was never bored with them. This show is very good at slapstick comedy, and since that's all it strives for, I can't really say that anything is wrong with it, because it doesn't have a lot of elements to it, but the ones it has it's very good at, so if slapstick is what you like, you will love this show.

Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu (フルメタル・パニック? ふもっふ Furumetaru Panikku? Fumoffu?) is a companion series to the anime series Full Metal Panic! by Kyoto Animation, and takes place between the first season and The Second Raid.

Markedly different in tone to the first series, Fumoffu emphasizes the high school romantic comedy aspects of Full Metal Panic! with often crude humor and focuses on the romantic tension between Sousuke Sagara and Kaname Chidori. It frequently parodies itself and anime stereotypes. None of the mecha combat or political intrigue, which characterized much of the original Full Metal Panic!, can be seen in the series. The only reference to the mecha aspect of Full Metal Panic! is the Bonta-kun, which is one of the most prominent parodies in the anime.

Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu was directed by Yasuhiro Takemoto and produced by Kyoto Animation, which replaced Gonzo as the series producer, and became the first anime television show from this studio. The English version was produced by ADV Films. The original broadcast in Japan aired from August 25 to November 18, 2003. 12 half-hour episodes were created, but only 11 were broadcast on Japanese television. The missing episode was not broadcast because its plot dealt with kidnapping and was similar to a series of kidnappings that happened in real-life Japan shortly before the planned broadcast. However, the missing stories are featured on all DVD and Blu-ray releases. To coincide with seasonal change, the last three episodes feature character animations in an autumn setting, as opposed to a summer setting in the rest of the series. At Anime USA 2009, Funimation Entertainment announced that it acquired the rights to the first and second series. DVD and Blu-ray sets were re-released on October 5, 2010 and the series made its North American television debut on November 15, 2010, on the Funimation Channel.

The fictional Jindai (陣代) High School, which Kaname and Sousuke are students of, is based on the real life Jindai (神代) High School in Chōfu, Tokyo.

In contrast to the original series, there is little plot continuity between episodes and most of them can stand alone, needing very little recap, if any. The only break from this pattern is a handful of two-part stories which are told over two episodes. Most of the stories in Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu are adaptations of plots from the original Full Metal Panic! short stories written by Shoji Gatoh and published in the Dragon Magazine.

The creators of Full Metal Panic! planned to give the new series title Full Metal Panic? - with the exclamation mark exchanged for a question mark. However, they quickly realized that such a minor alternation was insufficient to properly differentiate between the new series and the original. For that reason, it was decided that the fictional word "Fumoffu" would be used.[citation needed]

"Fumoffu" is the sound made by Bonta-kun, the series' fictional mascot, which resembles a human-sized, yellow teddy-bear, seemingly parodying Gonta-kun from the educational show Dekirukana. It is a personal armor suit, designed by Sousuke for the purpose of providing aid in tactical situations. Even though only capable of moving with human running speed and limited by its size, the suit is essentially a miniature Arm Slave. However, due to the suit's main computer's malfunction, all syllables uttered by the pilot are changed to either Fu, Mo, Ffu, or Ru. The suit's Operating System immediately crashes if the pilot tries to deactivate the voice changer. For that reason, Kaname has to translate what Sousuke wants to say using a headset radio, which is a frequent cause of humor in the series.

In my opinion, this is the best of all the "Full Metal Panic" animations. Unlike its predecessor, it focuses more in the comedy and the relationships of the main characters. And also, there aren't giant robots. But that isn't flaw. In fact, I liked this more than "Full Metal Panic!" and "Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid!", mostly because the hilarious situations depicted in each episode of this series.

The jokes and the comedy style from this anime somewhat reminded Japanese animations like "Ranma 1/2" (Mostly because the funny relationship between the two main characters) combining perfectly well the absurdity and the gags with romance and some heartwarming moments.

The animation is excellent, with great character designs, and a beautiful use of colors, which capture the light-hearted tone of the series. The opening song is pretty nice too.

"Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu" is a very entertaining anime with many virtues that deserve to be taken in consideration. It can be enjoyed for anyone, even for the viewers who didn't watch the previous series. To the present, this remains being my favorite installment of this franchise.
