When Marge decides to wash all Homer’s shirts Bart puts his red t-shirt inside the washing machine. Of course, when Homer’s shirts are taken out from it they all are of pink color. He has no other choice but to wear a pink shirt and go to work. But his insanity in seriously questioned by his colleagues. Why is Homer wearing a pink shirt? Meanwhile Lisa prepares to celebrate her eighth birthday, she feels rather depressed about it, but eventually it all turns to be awesome. Especially when there is a star John Jay Smith singing a song written for her! Later Lisa signs up to take part in a essay contest which Homer had found for her. In another episode Homer takes part in the experimental program which is developed to improve the hair growth. So after he has much more hair Marge finds him much more attractive and even sexy.

Maggie Simpson spends the day in the Ayn Rand School for Tots. Marge Simpson drops off Maggie at the Ayn Rand School for Tots, where, after going through a security screening, she is classified as being of "average intelligence", upon which a guard carries her past the "Room for Gifted Babies" and puts her in the "Nothing Special" dreary corner. The playtime items are either taken away or eaten by the other babies. A butterfly then makes its way into the room as Maggie's nemesis, Baby Gerald, squashes and kills it on the wall with a mallet and draws a box around it with a crayon. A second butterfly also meets the same fate. Maggie finds a caterpillar and a pop-up book about the life cycle of the butterfly. Realizing that the caterpillar could also meet the fate of the first two butterflies, she tries to protect it from Gerald. The caterpillar later encases itself in a chrysalis and starts to transform. Once the newly formed butterfly emerges, Maggie tries to help it fly out of the window, but Gerald seemingly kills it by shutting the blinds on it as it attempts to pass through. Maggie dramatically mourns as she falls to the floor. Marge then arrives to pick her up, when it is revealed Maggie's scene was only a ruse to cover the truth: she had slipped her hair bow onto the windowsill and wore the butterfly on her forehead in its place. She then sets the butterfly free as Marge drives her home.

After Homer accidentally pollutes the town's water supply, Springfield is encased in a gigantic dome by the EPA and the Simpson family are declared fugitives. Homer adopts a pig who's run away from Krusty Burger after Krusty tried to have him slaughtered, naming the pig "Spider Pig." At the same time, the lake is protected after the audience sink the barge Green Day are on with garbage after they mention the environment. Meanwhile, Spider Pig's waste has filled up a silo in just 2 days, apparently with Homer's help. Homer can't get to the dump quickly so dumps the silo in the lake, polluting it. Russ Cargill, the villainous boss of the EPA, gives Arnold Schwarzenegger 5 options, forcing him to choose 4 (which is, unfortunately, to destroy Springfield) and putting a dome over Springfield to prevent evacuation. Homer, however, has escaped, along with his family. Can he stop the evil Cargill from annihilating his home town, and his family, who have been forced to return to Springfield?

A clan of medieval heroic night creatures are revived from a millennium long cursed hibernation in contemporary New York City. Gargoyles the Movie: The Heroes Awaken is a Disney direct-to-video animated film. The film is actually the five-episode pilot ("Awakening") of the animated television series Gargoyles edited into one long feature film, approximately 90 minutes in length. As a result, numerous scenes were cut from the original broadcast episodes due to time constraints. In addition, a number of scenes were also moved around and some dialogues were changed... Scrooge takes his nephews to Egypt to find a pyramid and magic lamp. Scrooge McDuck, his dimwitted pilot Launch Pad, and his newphews Huey, Dewey and Louie, with Webby, arrive in Egypt where Scrooge finds the lost treasure of Collie Baba, unbeknownst to Scrooge, a magic lamp was included inside the treasure, so while the nephews have fun with the genie, they all have no idea that they're being stalked by a power hungry sorceror named Murlock and his dimwitted thief counterpart, Dijon.

Jafar comes for revenge on Aladdin, using a foolish thief and Iago's treachery to find a way back into power. Aladdin is adjusting to his new life as part of the upper crust.
