Once upon a time lived a little girl Oksana, who studied at the school of magic, where they were taught witchcraft. A little grown up, my daughter fell in love with reading all sorts of horror stories and comics. And one evening, climbing up to her attic in search of her favorite book, she finds an old trunk of her mother. There are things from the fairy world in it, and among other stuff there is an old book with spells. With her help Oksana accidentally calls a boy named Nelgodnik. After such an act, she had to help the boy to return. Oksana, together with him through the magical portal in the well, gets into the fairy-tale world. There she was mistaken for that girl who fled to the world of people from punishment, that is, for her mother.

The rascal, like a true gentleman, considers it a matter of honor to help a little girl go back home. In addition to the main character in the land of wonders, Oksana's grandmother, a writer of kind fairy tales, is taken. There she finds out that her granddaughter is in trouble and that all these fairy-tale characters are far from fiction. They will have an unequal battle with evil, where it is not easy to win. The director of the painting, Vaclav Vorlicek, is able to perfectly convey the realism of his characters in the film due to the good acting of the actors.
